The starting point
Elefin set out to be a low-friction forex broker: quick to sign up, tight spreads and a trading experience that feels like its own rather than a stock platform with a logo on it.
That meant more than one front end. Clients would trade on MetaTrader 5, on a web terminal built for Elefin and in an Elefin mobile app. All three had to show the same price at the same moment, or clients would notice and support would hear about it.
One bridge behind every screen
XiroLink sits between Elefin’s liquidity providers and its platforms. It takes the providers’ prices, maps every symbol once and applies Elefin’s markups, then delivers the result to MetaTrader 5 through its datafeed and to the web terminal and mobile app over WebSocket.
Because every platform reads from the same bridge, a spread change or a new symbol is made once and reaches every screen together. Brokeret built the Elefin WebTerminal and the mobile app on top of that price stream.
- LP prices in, one clean price per symbol out
- Markups set per platform and account type, from the same feed
- MetaTrader 5, web and mobile priced from the same source
- Hosted and run for Elefin, with monitoring and alerts on every connection
Scaling to 300K+ users
Elefin’s user base grew quickly, to more than 300,000 users. The price stack did not need to be rebuilt along the way: new symbols, account types and connections were added while the bridge kept running, and every change went into the audit log.
With pricing handled by XiroLink, Elefin’s team could spend its time on clients, marketing and new markets instead of on price infrastructure.
