How much does a liquidity bridge cost?

A liquidity bridge is priced as a flat monthly fee, a fee on the volume your clients trade, a mix of both, or a one time licence. Volume fees look cheap at launch and grow with every lot, so the right model depends on how much flow you expect.

Four ways vendors charge for a bridge

Most quotes are one of these, or a mix. The headline price matters less than how it moves when your volume does.

  • Flat monthlyHow it works:A fixed fee per month, sometimes with limits on LPs, platforms or symbols.Good for you:Cost stays the same as you grow.Watch out for:You pay the same in a quiet month.
  • Volume basedHow it works:A fee for every million USD of client volume that passes through the bridge.Good for you:Cheap while volume is low.Watch out for:The bill grows with every lot your clients trade.
  • HybridHow it works:A base fee plus a smaller volume fee on top.Good for you:A lower volume rate than pure volume pricing.Watch out for:Two numbers to model, and the volume part still grows.
  • Licence and maintenanceHow it works:A one time licence, then a yearly maintenance or support fee.Good for you:Predictable once paid.Watch out for:A large first payment, and hosting is often yours to run.

Per month

Volume based quote$3,000
XiroLink Professional$1,499

XiroLink costs $1,501 less a month, $18,012 a year.

Total cost

Costs beyond the licence

The bridge fee is rarely the whole bill. Put these next to every quote before you compare them.

  1. 01

    Setup and onboarding

Connecting LPs, mapping symbols and configuring platforms. Some vendors charge once, some include it.

  2. 02

    Hosting and servers

If the bridge is not hosted for you, add servers, ideally close to your LPs, plus the people to run them.

  3. 03

    Extra connections

Many plans include a set number of LPs and platforms, then charge for each one you add.

  4. 04

    LP connectivity fees

Some liquidity providers charge for a FIX session or set minimum volumes. Ask each LP, it varies.

  5. 05

    Platform licences

MetaTrader and other platforms are licensed separately, by the platform vendor or a white label provider.

  6. 06

    Your team’s time

Monitoring feeds, changing spreads and answering client questions. Good tooling makes this smaller, not zero.

Before you sign

Six questions to ask about price

The answers tell you what the bridge will cost in year two, not just in month one.

  1. 01

    Is there a volume fee?

And if so, how is volume counted: one side or both, notional in USD, all symbols or only some?

  2. 02

    What does growth cost?

The price of each extra LP, platform, server or module, and where the next plan starts.

  3. 03

    What is in the setup?

Who maps symbols, sets markups and connects your platforms, and whether that costs extra.

  4. 04

    Who hosts it?

Whether you get your own server and fixed IP, and who watches it at three in the morning.

  5. 05

    What is the term?

Minimum contract length, notice period and what the price is after the first year.

  6. 06

What happens on a bad day?

Support hours, uptime commitments and how fast someone answers when a feed stops.

Bridge pricing questions

How much does a liquidity bridge cost?

It depends on the pricing model. Vendors charge a flat monthly fee, a fee per million USD of volume, a mix of both, or a one time licence with yearly maintenance. XiroLink is a flat monthly fee: Standard $799, Professional $1,499 and Enterprise $2,499, with no volume fees.

What is a volume based bridge fee?

A charge for every million USD of client volume that passes through the bridge. It keeps costs low at launch, but grows with your business, so at higher volumes it usually costs more than a flat fee.

Is a flat fee always cheaper?

No. At very low volume, a pure volume fee can cost less than a flat plan. The calculator on this page shows the volume at which the two cost the same, using the rate from your own quote.

Does XiroLink charge volume fees?

No. Every plan is a flat monthly price. Extra LP connections and modules are $200 a month each, and annual plans get two months free and free setup.

What is included in the XiroLink price?

Hosting on your own server with a fixed IP, the price engine, markups, trading hours, FIX, TCP and WebSocket takers, the MT4 and MT5 datafeeds, monitoring, alerts and backups. Professional adds synthetic instruments and risk accounts.
